The Mini MoCo system is a low cost, high precision and portable 4 axis motion control system with pan, tilt, focus and track.
Equipped with harmonic drive gears on the pan and tilt, the system have virtually no backlash. The system uses stepper motors on all axis and with a gear ratio of 100:1 on a standard setup, the system has a resolution of 555 steps pr.degree of motion. The Mini MoCo can be controlled live via BFG motion software Mantis II or directly from Dragonframe animation software.
Various track options are available. From simple lightweight IGUS type slider with ball screw or belt drives to heavy duty high precision linear rails with ball screw or with timing belt drive unit for longer runs on standard grip rails.
Currently the Mini MoCo portable motion control system is only available for rental.
